Ulta-Target-Walmart Haul

So recently I have gone a little crazy with buying beauty items. Some things I have been on the lookout for a while and others I saw and wanted to try. I believe this haul cost me a total of around $40-50. It is a pretty good sized haul since the most expensive object I bought was $6. I am genuinely impressed with most everything I bought.


The first things that I purchased was the Rimmel London Provocalips 16 HR Kiss Proof Lip Colour and Ulta Double Duty Lip Stain and Balm in shades I'll Call You and Romance. I love both of the colors of these the first one is a deep rose pink and the Ulta brand is more a natural bright pink it, it is a brighter version of my natural lips. Both really do last for a long time, I ate when I had this on and it barely came off. I did the kiss test with both and neither came off much and left very little residue.

Orange is the New Black Review

 When Orange is the New Black came out in 2013 there was a lot of hype, it was all over my Trending Now feed and the Recently Added feed on Netflix. I was very interested in this new TV show because it was a Netflix Original. So my younger self decided I would go ahead and check it out, the description said it was about a woman who had done something illegal years before and finally it caught up to her. She was sentenced to fifteen months in a minimum security prison.

The whole show is about the women in the prison including the main character Piper Chapman. Now the first episode of this show is very graphic and completely surprising if you weren't expecting it. There is nudity showing women's breasts and bums, I was only sixteen at the time and was not prepared for what I saw. I held out and kept watching and a little further into the first episode there was a very explicit lesbian scene. When I was watching this I was appalled and I had to quit watching because I was very disturbed.

I had completely forgotten about this show until the beginning of this summer when I was watching YouTube and there was a commercial for the show. It was so funny that it peaked my interest and I started too watch this show again. It has been two years since the first time I watched it and I have grown up a lot. I gave it another try and I am so happy I did.

Wet n Wild Mega Protein Waterproof Mascara Review

So I tried this new mascara today. I found out that my mom was at the store so I jokingly asked her to get me a surprise, like nail polish or mascara. I wasn't being serious at all, but low and behold when she got home she had bought me a mascara. This mascara is very
affordable and retails from $3-5.

I loved the packaging when I first opened it, it was easy to get into and I didn't have to break all my nails to get into it. I love the bright green color of tube and the spoolie was a great size and shape. It wasn't too short or too long. Some of the mascaras I have tried recently have had massive spoolies and I was scared I would stab myself in the eye. This mascara has a great shape its thin enough so you don't get it on the rest of your makeup and it's waterproof. How great is that?

Spider Leg Clumpy Lashes Eww

This mascara looks extremely natural when you apply it. It looked so natural it just looked like I had really long eyelashes. Even with a couple coats it didn't get clumpy or make my eyelashes look like I had spider legs on them.

I wore this mascara to the beach and even though it did bleed a bit, it didn't run like a normal mascara does. The only reason it did come off as much as it did was because I was rubbing at my eyes.

Overall this is the best drugstore mascara I have used in a long time. And for only $3 or $4 dollars it is a great deal.

All About Me

The first post, how intimidating! I guess I will just tell you a little about myself, I enjoy trying out beauty products. I love Netflix (but who doesn't) and whenever I watch Netflix I love crocheting. I always start projects and rarely finish them in one go, but rather work on a project till I get bored, move onto something else and come back to the first project later. It took me almost a year to crochet one blanket but I did finish it.

 Last of all I love reading anything and everything my absolute favorite series is the Eve trilogy.

Right now my favorite TV show is Orange is the New Black, but I'm currently watching through NCIS. 


At the beginning of the summer I started crocheting a new blanket and I've got it about a fifth of the way done.

I'm loving this new mascara I got, surprisingly, because it was a relatively cheap brand. This mascara is Wet n Wild  Mega Protein. I love the way it applies.

This blog will be about everything and anything that I'm interested in and hopefully you will be too. I will do reviews on beauty products like this beautiful mascara on the left. I will talk about my favorite shows on Netflix and things that I didn't like so much. I will do tutorials for things like crocheting and other DIYs. I will put up recipes and also rave about recipes that I love. Really I will write about anything that comes to mind. 


Well now that we got through that horribly awkward first post I hope that we can get to the fun stuff and be friends from here on out.
