Day 2 of the 30 Day Blog Challenge: My Dream Pet

Over the past few years, I have grown a little pet sitting business. I take care of people's cats, dogs, bunnies, fish, turtles, and even chickens once or twice. I've learned that I don't really want a pet right now, I don't want to have to come home every day and take care of something. With my crazy life, I think the only thing I could take care of all the time is a fish. I had a two fish my freshmen year of college, they both died, sadly, but not unexpected.

Day 1 of the 30 Day Blog Challenge: 5 Places I'd Like to Visit (In the U.S.)

Hello Lovelies, I hope you're having a wonderful day. This is the first day of the 30 day blog challenge! I figured I would start it off with something fun. Places I want to visit! Most of these places are pretty far out of my reach at this point in my life, but when I get older I would LOVE to visit these places. I would love to explore and travel the world, but for this post, I stuck to places inside the United States, just because it was too hard to pick 5 places out of the whole world. So without further adieu, 5 Places I'd Like to Visit (In the U.S.):

30 Day Blog Challenge

This is my take on the 30 day blog challenge, I want to start it on April 1st. I've really been wanting to post daily, and I think this is a great way to get in the habit, and also for you guys to get to know me better! I grabbed these ideas from the google image search of "30 Day Blog Challenge", most of them were very similar so I just picked the ones I liked. I might not do these in order just in case you were wondering.

This is one I wrote a while back, then I got really busy and forgot to post it. Honestly, looking back at these pictures I think that the polish looks really good. But continue reading to find out how I really feel about it.

WOW! Almost a Whole Year!-Life Update

It has been a really long time since I have posted on here! I have been super busy over the past months. My life has changed a lot. New school, new job, just a lot of change and it feels really good. Over the coming few weeks I'll be telling you what is going on in my life, I guess this will be sort of a brain dump of what has been going on over the past year. The reasons I changed schools, changed majors, how I feel about my new major, my new job, just really anything I want to talk about.

Parts of this series over the next few weeks:
The Sadness
The Evil Mcdonalds!
New Job!
New School!

I know this is a quicky but I just wanted you to know I plan on posting again!

But here is a little polish to brighten your day:
This is Ciate's Pretty in Putty. I only had to do two coats, to get this nude almost white polish opaque. I loved it, and I wore it for probably a week.

Well that's all folks, Have a Great Week! Leave a Comment Down Below!

Weekly Nail Obsession #10: Pen & Pink (and Silver Canvas Undercoat)

OPI's Turquoise Aesthetic
A couple weeks ago I tried out OPI's Turquoise Aesthetic from their Color Paints Collection with some pond nail art (for more about that mani click HERE), and I loved how it turned out. I wanted to use these again so the next manicure I did was with Pen & Pink from the same collection. I totally forgot to write about this polish, the pictures got lost in some pictures of a DIY I did a while ago (check that out HERE). It's been a really long time since I did this mani, but here goes!

Weekly Nail Obsession #9: OPI's Bubble Bath (and Alpine Snow) + How to Get a Perfect French Manicure

When I first started becoming obsessed with nail polish, I wanted to do a really professional looking French Manicure. I would put the white polish on my nail and it be perfectly shaped , but I couldn't figure out why it wasn't looking perfect like when you get it done at the nail salon. I have had full sets of acrylics on my nails and I would often get a french manicure. I was obsessed with it and I wanted to do it myself. As I was researching I found that people would use a really sheer pink or skin colored polish as a base and then do the white on top.

Sail Away With Me Mani, Anchor Accent Nails

Wow were my nails short!!
As I said in a previous post, I had a lot of time a couple weekends ago for nail polish and other blog related things, so here is my favorite thing I did. I have been wanting to do sailor nails for a really long time, but just haven't gotten around to it. I found the inspiration when I did my snowman nails back in December before I began writing again. When I used the darkest blue in the ombre it immediately reminded me of the perfect shade of sailor stripe blue. Since it was the middle of winter, I didn't think that sailing nails would be appropriate. I have been waiting for months to do these nails and I think they ended up beautiful. I ended up wearing them for about a week and they didn't chip start chipping until maybe the last day.

Weekly Nail Obsession #8: Ulta's RSVP

Lately, I have been exclusively using my mini polishes that I have just bought and forgetting about my full size polishes. Also I have almost always used OPI or China Glaze or other big polish names like that and forgetting about smaller or cheaper brands. I almost forgot how much I liked Ulta polishes just because I have been so stoked about my more expensive polishes. As I was looking over my nail polish collection I saw all of my Ulta polishes and I have some darker polishes and I was in the mood for something light. This polish caught my eye, I have had it for two years and I have never actually used it!

Ready To Come Home

I keep telling everyone the usual when they ask how I like college, "Oh it's going great, I love it there, my classes are great I love them, yep everything is just great!" But in reality, I don't love it here, I don't love my classes, and everything is not great. Don't get me wrong, I don't absolutely hate it here, but I also don't really like being here. I would rather be at home. My first final is tomorrow then I am going home for like five days until my next exam. I'm not trying to be a brat or a drama queen, but I just don't want to be here anymore. I'm sure this college works for tons of people, but just not for me.

Wet 'n' Wild French White Creme VS. OPI's Alpine Snow

This weekend I had a lot of free time because my roommate went home for the weekend. So I had time to do whatever I wanted! I could have gone to a party, I could have done something bad and never have to tell my parents. But being the lame-o I am, I painted my nails with like 20 different polishes. But I got to do something I've been wanting to do for a really long, I got to show you guys why I like Wet 'n' Wild's French White Creme as much as I do. I also did swatches of some of my nude, silver, and grey polishes, and as always when I have a lot of time, I did some nail art. All those posts will be along in the coming weeks, but it will take me a while to get used to being home from college. Oh yeah, did I mention it's also finals week!? My last day is this coming Monday, the 25th!

Weekly Nail Obsession #7: Sally Girl's Zing A Ding

Seriously my absolute favorite polish name in the history of polishes!!!! Sally Girl's Zing A Ding is just as great as the name makes it sound!! I actually have never used a Sally Girl polish even though I have quite a few which I bought in my Huge Sally Beauty Haul. I was kind of worried about these polishes, I thought they were going to be like a little kids polish like in the silly kits you get as a kid. But I was pleasantly surprised! I feel like this is the perfect spring polish.

I started off with OPI's Chip Skip, which I'm pretty sure is a nail dehydrator and then one coat of OPI's Nail Envy as a base coat. I then did three coats of Sally Girl's Zing A Ding, I could have gotten away with two but I wanted more white speckles. I finished this look with one coat of Seche Vite's Fast Dry Top Coat. I kind of wish I would have used this on easter because these white matte glitters are very easter egg-esque. This polish is a beautiful lilac color and I am Obsessed with it, I thought I was going to hate the white glitters, but they add a lot to the polish.

Alright Dearies I Hope You All Have a Wonderful Day!!
